A:  Mom, what's today?
Me:  Sunday.
A:  What month?
Me:  July.
A:  What's the number?
Me:  31.
A:  July thirty-oneth?
Me:   Yes, the thirty-oneth.





It always makes me laugh.

the peacock project finish

Here it is

What is next?

I was able to work on/sew/quilt the peacock project.

The pictures are not the best,

and I don't remember where I saw the wavy-line quilting to give credit to the proper person.  I had to add something to the green straight lines to jazz it up a bit.

We did 4th of July things this weekend: two late-night fireworks displays, two picnics, one annual hotdog, one out-door concert, visited with lots of family and friends. 

My parents had a record attendance at their annual 4th of July church picnic - 90 attendees.
